Fishing at Kettle Falls

 


 Fishermen can find plenty of walleye, small-mouth bass and northern in the waters around the Hotel.

           

     

Fish Rainy Lake to the north, Kabetogama to the west, Sand Point to the east, Namakan and 
Crane Lake to the South.  Trophy Fish are just waiting for you to test your skills.

A Fishing Guide service is also available when requested. And for a fee, our portage service will 
transport up to a 21 foot boat around the dam.

The "Trading Post" is open daily in the summer for all your camping, fishing or souvenir needs; 
tackle, food, dry goods, film, clothing and much more are available.

Gas, oil, bait and docking on both sides of the falls is available.

To fish the Ontario waters of Namakan, Sand Point and Rainy Lakes, you will need to obtain a Remote Access Border Crossing
permit to enter these waters. You will need an Ontario Non-Resident Fishing License which is obtainable at most
ports of entry. Additionally, you will need to purchase Canadian bait if you fish with live bait.
